CK "VUGLINKA"
The charcoal kiln "Vuglinka" is used for utilization of wood processing waste products of both soft- and hardwood with humidity not exceeding 20% in order to obtain charcoal. Branches of application of this kiln are small and big enterprises dealing with wood processing, located both within and outside the city.
This installation operates on the principle of thermal heating of carbon-bearing raw material with no access of oxygen (pyrolysis) and by using the combined way of heating. High efficiency, small labour input and insignificant expenses for operation of equipment ensure low cost price of coal and fast recoupment of "Vuglinka" installation. The construction provides an opportunity to make up to 2 cycles a day! During manufacture fraction less than 20 mm., does not exceed 2-3 %, from the common output of charcoal. The kiln can be easily transported. It hardly releases any smoke while operating as pyrolysis gas is burned up in the kiln. Both soft and hardwood (yield factor see in tab.) with humidity not exceeding 20% can be used as raw materials for this kiln. The recommended sizes of wood used as raw material are — length - 10-2000 mm., width - 10-150 mm.

  • Productivity of the kiln depends on following factors:
  • 1. Wood humidity;
  • 2. Breed of wood;
  • 3. The size of a piece. Increase in humidity essentially reduces productivity comparing to the nominal one (55 %)
** At humidity of raw material it’s steady higher, than nominal, productivity decreases. At humidity of 70 % (just cutting deciduous wood during juice movement), productivity of CK "Vuglinka" decreases on 15-20 %.
