In December, 2011we tried the drying system for CK “EURO”.

Since 2010 we have developed and conducted the trials of various systems to increase the coefficient of efficiency for CK “EURO”. The change in coefficient of efficiency is expressed in the increase of kiln productivity that is achieved owing to the efficiency of wood drying. All this leads to decrease in the cycle duration, more stable process and ability to automatize the control process in the future. New experimental system of faster drying were tried in Vasilkov city, that is not far from Kiev. The process goes faster because of wood drying by the residual heat carrier (furnace gases) directly into the trolley.  By this the concept of CK “EURO” is the same that the trolleys containing raw material are loaded into the chamber and they are uploaded containing charcoal (there are no movements from one chamber into another). I.e. the process is conducted directly in the “drying” mode chamber. Such way drying is more effective, the temperature on the inlet to the chamber (trolley) is controlled to prevent more rapid drying and beginning of pyrolysis process. Using this system we managed to make the whole cycle 8 hours shorter.
